Your Winners and STILL WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions: Heath and Rhyno
Match 4: Baron Corbin vs. Jack Swagger

Your Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion: Dolph Ziggler
Match 6: Alexa Bliss vs. Naomi
Your Winner: Naomi
Match 7: Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt
Your Winner: Bray Wyatt
Show Overall: Show was pretty well put together. Barring the match order, with the main event being first, which I understand, and the Dolph, Miz match being in the middle, which I don’t understand, the show was very well done. Randy and Bray in the main event was a little weird and I still think you allow Ziggler and Miz to go out and put on a great match, and allow the crowd to go home happy. I do not understand the Naomi and Bliss finish. If Bliss still has a championship match coming to her, why should I care now that Naomi just beat her. Naomi and her put on a pretty bad match but the crowd didn’t die on them. Overall, it isn’t a must watch, but Smackdown has been hitting a lot of nice double with their brand exclusive PPV’s.
Let’s Talk About RAW- 10/10/2016
We open with Sasha coming out and talking about winning the title back. She speaks on the rivalry that Charlotte and her have and announces/request their rematch be in a Hell in the Cell. Charlotte comes out but is immediately cut off by Rusev., and his new luscious beard. He talks crap about the divas revolution, but is cut off by Charlotte. She agrees to the match with Sasha in a Hell in a Cell. Rusev calls Charlotte black swan. Lana interjects ,but in the end, Rusev is made to look like a boob and is double drop kicked out of the ring. Which then brings out Roman Reigns to…save the day? Spoiler, he did nothing, and was so unneeded. Nice thing is that Charlotte and Sasha came together for a moment and drop kicking Rusev, which was cool to see on their end.. Overall, Rusev was unneeded, as well as, Roman. It was sort of overshadowing the importance that we are about to see two women, for the first time, square off inside a Hell in the Cell.
Match 1: Kofi Kingston vs. Cesaro
Recap: Well the New Day cut a promo as I fast-forwarded. Opening saw Cesaro and Kofi tease dive spots but taunt instead. Sheamus is at ringside on Facebook live. Kofi hits a nice crossbody from the top. Cesaro hits the uppercuts and goes for the Sharpshooter after blocking a kick from Kofi. Kofi tries to springboard in but”misses” the rope and falls into the ring. Sheamus gets involved with the tromboner at ringside, but is taken out by Big E. This…distracts Cesaro and he is rolled up for the 1…2…3. Nothing to this match.
Your Winner: Kofi
We get a recap of Goldberg’s comments on ESPN. If you missed it he didn’t agree to a match but did say if he had until the end of the year that he could probably return. They recapped their first match and I forgot that there was actual some moves in the match, as all I remember is the 10 minutes of nothing as the crowd booed.
Match 2: Bayley vs. A Jobber
Recap: Nothing to the match. Jobber seemed off. If they are going to be enhancement, then they need to be able to enhance the talent, not detract. Ending saw Dana take out Bayley, as the inflatable wave arm man covers her to keep her from being attacked anymore.
Your Winner Bayley
Chris Jericho is backstage talking himself up. R-Truth is standing behind Chris and he gives him a PayDay…get it…it’s a paid ad on the show.
Match 3: Tony Nese and Drew Gulak vs. Lince Dorado and Sin Cara
Recap: Lots of back and forth flippy counters. Sin Cara hits an assisted senton onto Nese. Gulak gets the Gory Special onto Dorado. Sin Cara with the moonsault onto both of his opponents. Sin Cara does the one armed powerbomb onto Gulak for a 2. Suicide dive by Sin Cana onto Nese. Dorado hits the Shooting Star Press onto Gulak for the 1….2…3! Match was a little flat. However, it is what you want from these guys. Fast, and to the point. They do not need to put on 20 minute matches. Crowd wasn’t into it until the end.
Your Winner: Lince Dorado and Sin Cara
So, Mick comes out and confirms a match that Sasha and Charlotte already confirmed…I mean I know he has to confirm it, but could this be done together? Also, to dilute the Hell in a Cell…we have three matches happening in the cell, wow so innovative. Also, fuck off with these forced stipulations just because it is a themed PPV. Anyways we booked some matches, grand. Kevin makes fun of Mick. Jericho tries to get one over on Mick. Also, Mick looks liked he is wearing flannel pajamas. Mick gets put on the list, by the way, which Mick makes fun of, and says he is already on the list. Oh, and Stephanie got to put down the talent. Also, Stephanie is apparently face this week…this is where I fast-forwarded. Backstage, Seth cuts a promo, and to be completely honest, a very good, face promo. He says he is no longer a cog in machine, or a player in this game. Nice.
Match 4: Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel vs. Enzo and Cass
Recap: Welp, I guess they have given up on Bo, and have no desire to even try with Curtis Axel. Well shit, never mind. Anderson and Gallows take out Enzo and Cass before the match could even start. Magic Killer by Anderson and Gallows onto Cass for the finish of this segment.
Your Winner: No Contest
Match 5: Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel vs. Sami Zayn and Neville
Recap: Welp, I guess they have given up on Bo, and have no desire to even try with Curtis Axel.Honestly though, Bo and Axel looked pretty good to start out. Bo’s aggression is good, he just needs to drop the sign. Exploder corner suplex to Axel, Helluva Kick, and then the Red Arrow by Neville for the 1…2…3! Bo takes his sign and goes home, without Axel-mania in tow.
Your Winner: Neville and Sami Zayn
A nothing conversation between Charlotte and Lana.
Match 6: Titus vs. R-Truth
Recap: R-Truth with the early punches. Dancing by Truth and hits the heel kick. Titus forgot how to work, or move and takes about an hour to cover for a 2. Day 2 of training school bodyslams by Titus. Titus is distracted by Goldust tuning up the band on the steps. He is rolled up, right underneath the ropes, but can’t reach them…and is pinned. Wow, the shit was this?
Your Winner: R-Truth
An actual, really good backstage segment between TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick. TJ talks about Kendrick being scared, which Brain asks if he was scared to fail, when he beat TJ last week. TJ talks about being cheap shotted before that. He says Kendrick doesn’t need the cheapshots. He says he still thinks Kendrick can be THE Brian Kendrick and they shake hands. Kendrick tries to attack TJ, but TJ punches him first and says, “Guess I was wrong.”
Match 7: Braun Strowman vs. A Jobber and A Jobber
Recap: Squash, Highlight, the fact that a black and white tag team were the Splash Brothers! Not sure this is what Braun meant by stiffer competition. Actually, he says exactly that. He tells Foley he wants real competition next week.
Your Winner: Braun Strowman
Match 8: Charlotte and Rusev vs. Sasha and Roman Reigns
Recap: An absolutely nothing start. Roman jacks off his wrist, but is stopped by Charlotte. Sasha knocks Charlotte down and Roman clotheslines rusev out as Raw rolls on. The return, we have flipped the script. Rusev is slowly working over Roman. Superman PAUNCH by Roman. Hot tag to Sasha. Double knees onto Charlotte. Double Knees into the corner, followed by the Double knees to the gut. Sasha, out of nowhere, gets the Bank Statement on Sasha. Spear by Roman onto Rusev, as Charlotte has to tap out. Nice ending to an otherwise boring match.
Your Winners: Sasha and Roman Reigns
Kevin and Jericho is backstage and Kevin tells Phil he can hear a stupid question coming. Chris calls out the question, and says it is just jargon. Tom asks Kevin why he didn’t come down and save Chris last week. Kevin brushes it off and tells him to leave. Also, he steals Tom’s handkerchief.
Paul Heyman talks about Goldberg and if the match is going to happen. Paul compares Goldberg to Brock. Also, he talks about the fact that Goldberg is still one up on Brock. He lays down a challenge to Goldberg. I liked the ending where Paul tells Goldberg that in that ring he isn’t Goldberg, he is NEXT!
So, Vince just realized that Emma is hot, and so we will see the Emmalution into Emmalina.
Match 9: TJ Perkins vs. Ariya Daivari
Recap: I am so happy they got this man. I really liked him in the Cruiserweight Classic. Quick back and forth with TJ doing the spiderman pose between the ropes. He drops down and Daivari misses and is sent outside. Daivari takes TJ out with a crossbody and continued to work Perkins on the mat. Dropkick reversal by TJ but Daivari hits a neckbreaker for another 2. TJ hits a version of the Go to Sleep for a 2. Daivari hits the rolling elbow for another 2. Big splash missed by Daivari. TJ with the dropkick and a roll through into the knee bar for the submission victory. Match was a little longer than it needed to be. Daivari looked alright but not very impressive. He still has a lot of work to do. This match wasn’t made for Kendrick to talk over the whole time. If you drank every time he was cut off because they called a move in the match, you’d been druck. Nobody’s fault, just not the right match to be putting over the guy on commentary.
Your Winner: TJ Perkins
It’s time for YOUR MAAAAIIIIIINNNN EVENT!
Match 10: Chris Jericho vs. Seth Rollins if Chris wins he is added to the WWE Universal Championship match at Hell in the Cell
Recap: Seth with the early Blockbuster onto Chris. Outside brawl with Seth gaining the advantage. As soon as they get back into the ring out comes Kevin Owens. Chris works the ribs an extremely long time. Slapfest back and forth. Chris gets the abdominal stretch. Seth attacks Chris’ thigh and rolls through. Enziguri by Seth, he follows up with the elbows in the corner. Slingblade by Seth. Codebreaker is countered into a superkick. Kevin asks Seth what he thought about his belt. This causes Seth to kick him. Chris stops Seth’s springboard and locks in the Walls. Seth climbs and crawls, and reaches out to get the ropes. Kevin, however, hits Seth in the face but Chris can only muster a 2. Seth hits the suicide dive out onto Kevin, instead of Jericho. Seth hits a shitty looking springboard knee to Chris’ head. Big Frog Splash by Seth but he misses, Chris follows this up, with a Lionsault for a long 2. Seth goes for the Pedigree but is countered into the Walls. Seth rolls up Jericho off of the Walls attempt and he is pinned 1…2…3. Immediately after the match, Owens takes out Seth. Two-on-one happens to Seth but he keeps escaping from them. Kevin bails again and Seth gets the Pedigree on Chris as we head off the air. Great match between these two. Too bad this was match 10, technically 9, of a three hour show. Crowd was into it but you could tell they were tired.
Show Overall: I know I say this every week but three hours is too damn long. The main event would have been hot as fire if it wasn’t for that extra hour. The crowd is tired. They have already seen everything, including longer matches, so when the special main event comes out everyone is just tired. The show was good however. I thought they did an excellent job of pacing tonight. There were a couple of filler segments, but overall we got a great edition of RAW. However, when you blow your load, what exactly do you come back with next week? So…\
Until Next Time,
